OUR PEOPLE

The success of PRISM is our people…. introducing the senior team.

SUSAN A. CONNER, FCA
President and Chief Executive Officer

Championing creativity as a catalyst for transformational change is Susan’s signature. A progressive healthcare and real estate executive, she has picked up the gauntlet throughout her career to challenge the status quo, and has played a pivotal role in implementing leading-edge business and organizational change in Canada and the United States. Susan is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of PRISM Partners Inc. a for-profit corporation offering remarkably bold new approaches that meet facility redevelopment challenges head on. This innovative new organization offers expertise through a full suite of Project Management and Consulting Services for Public-Sector Organizations; predominantly, in the health-related field.

At PRISM Partners Inc., Susan leads and inspires a dynamic team of professionals that excel in their understanding of the complexities involved in large-scale capital redevelopment projects. Energized by Susan’s passion to employ radical new approaches in financing, construction and design of renewal projects, and unified by her zeal for creativity, together they offer out-of-the-box thinking combined with proven strategies to deliver results to organizations undergoing major redevelopment projects, on-time and on-budget. Currently, PRISM is engaged in client assignments in Ontario, Canada and the UK with a combined project value in excess of $2.2 billion.

Prior to assuming her leadership role with PRISM Partners Inc., Susan was the Vice President of Real Estate Solutions for UHN. Over a fifteen-year period, she managed $1 billion in hospital redevelopment projects, including Toronto’s Princess Margaret Hospital, and most recently the groundbreaking $600 million UHN redevelopment, the largest, boldest and most challenging project of its kind in Canadian history. Spearheaded by Susan, this six year, multifaceted redevelopment successfully integrated three of Toronto’s leading hospitals as well as research facilities, and was completed in 2005 on time and under-budget. The brilliantly executed project was a watershed event, and marked many firsts for hospitals in Canada, including two public/private sector partnerships that took an unprecedented approach to securing capital market financing in a short period of time.

Susan puts her formidable creativity and passion to make a difference to work through her involvement with not-for-profit organizations; most notably, the Board of Directors for CARE Canada, CARE International and Partnerships British Columbia.
